COSHOCTON COUNTY, OH - Chumney murder suspect Robert Clark is back in Ohio and he'll make his first court appearance Tuesday.
Robert Clark was captured Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, in Arizona and was transported over the weekend. According to police he has confessed to the kidnapping and murders Lillian and Doyle Chumney.
Clark and Tabatha Hazel, 27, and Jeffrey Caley, 28, had went on a multi-state crime spree before being caught. Caley and Hazel are only accused in the robberies.
The other Chumney murder suspect, Jeffery Stewart, was arrested on Jan. 31. He also immediately admitted his involvement in the killings and pointed the finger at Robert Clark. Both have been charged in the Jan. 21 abduction and killing of the Strasburg couple. No motive has been established, but police believe Clark knew someone who worked for the couple.
Authorities previously said all the suspects have been cooperating with police.
Stewart waived his right to a premlinary hearing and his case will be sent directly to the grand jury.
Today's court appearance is a scheduled as a bond hearing for Clark.
