Unsolved Crime: Still no arrests in robbery/shooting near the Horseshoe Casino

A robbery and felonious assault shooting from earlier this month is still unsolved and Cleveland Police is asking or your help.

It happened February 11, 2015 at 5:40 in the morning in at the parking garage near the Horseshoe Casino. Officers responded to a call for a shooting. When they arrived they found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hand. He was treated at the scene and EMS took him to MetroHealth Medical center for further treatment.

The victim told police that he came to the casino with the suspect and two females after meeting them at a strip club. The victim said he won some money while at the casino and while leaving, the suspect pulled a silver semi-automatic handgun on the victim and said "Give me all you bread." The victim gave him the money and when he got out of his Dodge Ram truck, the victim said he heard two shots and was hit in his hand once.

The suspect fled north on Ontario. Victim reported amounts taken by suspect to be either $2,600 or $4,600.

The suspect is described at a black male, 5'9, heavy build, facial hair and he was wearing a gray jogging suit.
