Trayvon Martin's mother Sybrina Fulton visits the downtown Cleveland Library

On Saturday, February 21, Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, spoke at the downtown

located at 325 Superior Avenue.

Fulton discussed how she is using her tragic experience to help other families.

The free event was open to the public.

In 2012 Fulton's son, Trayvon Martin, was killed by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer.

Many Americans outraged by Martin's death, followed the investigation and court proceedings closely.

Zimmerman was ultimately acquitted.
