Lake Erie Monsters fall to Rochester 5-1

The

fell 5-1 to the Rochester Americans Tuesday afternoon at The Q.

In the first period Zac Dalpe gave Rochester a 1-0 lead at 9:01 of the first period. Jerome Leduc gave Rochester a 2-0 in the first period and that's all they would need to get the victory.

Sam Henley scored his fourth goal of the season to give the Monsters their only goal of the game. The score came at 18:56 in the first period, assisted by Kenny Ryan and Markus Lauridsen.

Other goals by Rochester came by Phil Varone, Evan Rankin and Dan Catenacci.

The Monsters host Iowa Friday at 7:30 p.m. at The Q.
