Woman accused of killing Cleveland police chief's brother dies

(WOIO) - According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office, the woman who Cleveland Police say shot and killed Williams D. Williams has died.

Dana Johnson had been in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh since Tuesday, when police say she shot herself in the head during a traffic stop on SR 376 in Beaver County.

Williams was found in the 10600 block of Grantwood around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Johnson was his girlfriend and police immediately named her a suspect.

Williams is the brother of Police Chief Calvin Williams.
