BEDFORD, OH (WOIO) -

A 27-year-old homeless man has been arrested in connection with stealing vehicles from car dealership along the Bedford Automile

Police say in the past two weeks the suspect stole eight cars and traded them for drugs.

The first theft took place on Feb. 16 and the last happened on Tuesday.

Police say the suspect steals the keys during the day and then comes back at night and drives away with the vehicles. None have been recovered.

Charges are expected to be announced on Friday. Police aren't releasing his name until he is charged.
