REWARD: Still no arrest in South Euclid hit skip

SOUTH EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - The South Euclid Police Department is currently investigating a crash involving a motor vehicle that seriously injured a teenager earlier this month and they are asking the public for any information in the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.

It happened February 11, 2015 between 7:05 AM – 7:20 AM in the area of 4129 Harwood.

14-year-old Jeida Mills suffered serious injuries to her head and back. She was on her way to school when she was hit.

The suspect vehicle is possibly a 1997 – 2004 Ford F-150 truck. The truck will have damage located on the front towards the middle of the grill. The blue Ford Emblem and parts of the grill were located at the scene.

Police say the driver who hit Jeida has to know what he or she did. "No doubt in my mind, I mean with the pieces that were found at the scene, there's some significant damage to the front of that vehicle," said Sergeant Rick Friedl of the South Euclid Police Department.

The South Euclid Police Department is offering a reward of $1,000.00 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible. If anyone has any information on this vehicle or may have seen the crash, please call the South Euclid Police Department at (216) 381-1234.
