LeBron's 42 points lead Cavs past Warriors

LeBron James scored a season-high 42 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, and Kyrie Irving added 24, as the Cavaliers stunned the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, 110-99 at the "Q".

The Warriors came in with a Western Conference-best 44 wins, led by the "Splash Brothers", Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, who have combined to average just over 45 points per game. But the Cavaliers held them to a combined 31 points, with Curry throwing down 18.

Still, the game was tight into the third quarter, before the Cavaliers started pulling away. The Cavs, who have won 18 of their past 20, and 11 straight on their home court, improve to 37-22,  They return to work Friday night against the Pacers in Indianapolis.
