Brooklyn Police have reopened I-480 eastbound after cleaning a strip of the highway following an accident at W. 130th.

The interstate was closed from Tiedman to Ridge Road.

At this time it is unknown exactly how many cars are involved.

Contrary to an earlier report from Cleveland EMS stating that no one was transported from the accident, Brooklyn Fire says three people were taken to local hospitals.

A Brooklyn Police officer was among those who sustained injuries.  The severity of the injuries is unknown.

The Fire Department says one person was taken to University Hospitals Parma Medical Center while the two others were conveyed to MetroHealth Medical Center.

With so much snow falling, officers what to remind you to drive slowly and pay attention to what's going on around your vehicle.

Several other spin outs and accidents have been reported all over the Cleveland area with none reported as very significant.
