BEDFORD, OH (WOIO) -

The homeless man accused of stealing multiple cars from dealerships has a court hearing today in Bedford Municipal Court

Police say 27-year-old Stephen Kukoleck stole eight cars in two weeks from the Bedford Automile and traded them for drugs.

He is charged with multiple counts of auto theft.

The first theft took place on Feb. 16. Police say the suspect stole the keys during the day and then came back at night and drove away with the vehicles. None have been recovered.

Kukoleck remains behind bars on a $250,000 bond.
