Serial shoplifters busted in South Euclid

SOUTH EUCLID, OH (WOIO) -

Walmart Loss Prevention notified dispatch they saw two shoplifters leave a South Euclid store and board a bus northbound on Warrensville Center Road. 

Officers located the RTA bus a short time later in Cleveland Heights and apprehended the suspects. Police confiscated the items, including a TV, a Keurig coffee maker, jerseys, undergarments and several packs of meat. 

The 65-year-old Cleveland man and 48-year-old Cleveland woman were arrested and transported to jail on a $525 bond. 

According to police, together the two have more than 100 arrests under their belts. The male has been arrested 89 times and the woman has 24 arrests. 

Their names have not been released.
