MENTOR, OH (WOIO) - On March 1 around 3 a.m. a car, spotted speeding and weaving on Reynolds Rd. near Ohio St., was pulled over.
The driver, was 27-year-old Jonathan Dudas of Euclid.
Police say they could tell right away that Dudas was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He refused to get out of his car and then sped off behind some hotels on the east side of Reynolds Rd. south of Rt. 2.
Another officer spotted the vehicle, and that's when Dudas got out and ran. Because he was resisting arrest, officers had to use a taser to subdue him.
Dudas refused to take blood and breath tests. He was charged with OVI, obstructing official business, compliance with a lawful order and resisting arrest.
