RICHLAND COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - The Richland County Sheriff's Office needs the public's help searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at the Dollar General in Crestline on March 2 around 9:50 p.m.

A Dollar Store cashier said a male walked into the store and ordered her to give him the money from the cash register.

The cashier described the suspect as a black male in his 40s, wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt, with dark-colored pants and white gloves. The cashier also reported that he was wearing "strange" glasses and a wig.

According to the cashier, the suspect said, "Give me the money and hurry up, or I'm going to shoot you." The cashier says after she gave him the money, the suspect ordered her to the ground and told her to stay there for 20 minutes after he left. Once the suspect fled, the cashier yelled for her manager.

The manager did not see the incident, but surveillance video captured everything.

Two deputies with K-9s responded to the scene, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit at 419-774-5611.
