Toronto, Ontario - LeBron James threw down a game-high 29 points, 15 coming in the fourth quarter, and dished out 14 assists as well, while Kyrie Irving added 26, as the Cavaliers held off the hard-charging Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night, 120-112 at Air Canada Centre.
The Cavs led by as many as 19 points before the Raptors stormed back in the third. Jonas Valanciunas led the way with 26 points, but also earned a Flagrant 1 foul with a hard takedown of LeBron late in the third quarter.
Lou Williams also had 26 points for the Raptors, who battled back to take the lead in the fourth quarter. But LeBron hit a couple of big three-pointers, and J.R. Smith and James Jones also buried big treys, and the Cavs held on for the win, jumping over the Raptors for the #2 spot in the Eastern Conference in the process.
