The Cleveland State Vikings will play Friday night against the Detroit Titans in the second round of the Horizon League Tournament.

The Vikings and Titans split the season series, the home team would win both games. This game is on a neutral floor in Valparaiso, IN and Vikings head coach Gary Waters believes that is could benefit his team, "It should help us because we're playing a team not on their court, we would like it at our place so we have our fan support but I really think it lifts us up."

The Cleveland State Vikings are 17-13 overall and 11-5 in conference play and the Detroit Titans are 15-17 overall and 7-9 in conference play.

If the Vikings advance to the Semifinals to play Valparaiso, it will be the third time they play this season and the second time in eight days, "The only thing that's tougher for us is that Valpo doesn't have to play until Saturday, we have to play a game on Friday so we have less preparation time and less rest time. The positive with that is we just played them last week so we know what they're doing and how they do it, we just got to get ready when we play them." Coach Waters said.

The Vikings and Titans play on National TV at 9:30 P.M. Friday night. For more information on the Horizon League Tournament and the full bracket breakdown, click HERE.
