COSHOCTON COUNTY, OH - The two suspects in the murders of an elderly Ohio couple this past January have been indicted by a Coshocton County grand jury.
Robert Clark faces the death penalty if convicted, but suspect Jeffery Stewart does not.
Police say Clark and Stewart killed 88-year-old Doyle Chumney and 79-year-old Lillian Chumney after abducting them from their home either late on Jan. 20 or early on Jan. 21.
Their bodies were discovered in their burned vehicle, which was found abandoned on a secluded road in Bakersville, OH, on Jan. 22.
Stewart was arrested several days after the murder. Clark and two others went on a multi-state crime spree before being arrested in February in Arizona.
Their next court date has not been set.
