The AL Cy Young award winner in 2014 Corey Kluber has signed with the Cleveland Indians for the 2015 season, avoiding arbitration.
All 23 pre-arbitration players on the club's 40-man roster are now under contract for the upcoming season.
Kluber started 34 games for the Indians in 2014, he finished with a 18-9 record and a 2.44 ERA (earned run average). Kluber struck out 269 batters, good for second in the league. Pitcher David Price had the most strike outs in 2014 with 271.
The Indians begin the 2015 season in Houston on April 6, their home opener is on April 10 against the division rival Detroit Tigers.
