COSHOCTON, OH (WOIO) - Both suspects accused in the murders of an elderly Ohio couple this past January pled not guilty in court this week.

Robert Clark, who has already apologized for his role in the crimes, entered his plea Friday.

Jeffery Stewart was caught just days after the crime. He appeared and pled in Coshocton County Court Wednesday.

Stewart and Clark were indicted Monday for the kidnapping and murders of 88-year-old Doyle Chumney and his 79-year-old wife Lillian.

The elderly couples' bodies were discovered in their burned vehicle, which was found abandoned on a secluded road in Bakersville, OH, on Jan. 22.

Robert Clark faces the death penalty if convicted, but Stewart does not.
