BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) - Brooklyn police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-skip accident.
It happened Thursday morning around 5:13 a.m.on Clinton road.
The victim and a friend were walking eastbound near the curb when the victim was struck by a pick-up truck traveling in the same direction.
The driver stopped briefly and then fled.
The victim was taken to MetroHealth with a serious head injury.
Vehicle parts left at the scene confirm that it was a 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado with heavy damage to the front passenger side, specifically to the headlight assembly.
It was also leaking large amounts of fluid and may have been headed to the area of the IX Center.
The truck was dark colored and possibly a quad cab. If you have any information give police a call.
