The Cleveland Division of Police is currently investigating a case that involves a teen suspect firing a gun while being pursued by a Cleveland Police Sergeant.

This incident occurred on Saturday, March 14, in the area of E. 83rd and Golden Ave.

Around 9:45 a.m. a Third District Cleveland Police Sergeant was flagged down by a Cuyahoga County Protective Services Officer.

The officer informed the sergeant that she believed she observed a male with a firearm.

The sergeant attempted to detain the suspect and ordered him to stop.
