Triplets accused of shooting teen outside rec center released

A teen girl was shot Tuesday afternoon near the Glenville Rec Center.

Wednesday Cleveland Police arrested a set of 19-year-old triplets.

The brothers were never charged and police released them Thursday as a result of the victims statements.

Police say two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on East 113th Street shooting at one another. One of the rounds hit a 17-year-old female in the hip. She was in the back of the recreation center at the time of the shooting.

The victim is expected to fully recover. The incident remains under investigation. If you have any information give police a call.
