WESTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - A Special Wish Foundation Cleveland Chapter along with Dave & Busters threw 8-year old heart transplant wish child, Micah Dougherty, a surprise "Star Wars" Birthday Party on Sunday, March 22.

Micah is a recipient of a heart transplant from the Cleveland Clinic.

His family asked ASW to help throw a Star Wars theme surprise birthday.

So ASW worked directly with Dave & Busters to create a VIP party with the 501st Garrison of Ohio, who brought nine Star Wars characters.

Dave & Busters is allowed Micah and his loved ones to have the party before they opened.

ASW was voted Best Children's Charity 2014 by Cleveland Scene Magazine.

The organization grants wishes for Cleveland families with someone suffering life-threatening diseases between birth and twenty years of age.

Currently, there are 32 families serviced at the main campus Cleveland Clinic, UH Rainbows, and the Ronald McDonald House.
