BELLEVUE, OH (WOIO) - The Bellevue Police Department and the Norwalk Police Department, both members of the

, conducted a joint drug trafficking investigation Monday.

As a result, Matthew P. James, 36, and Kelly A. Rupp, 27, were arrested for trafficking in marijuana in the vicinity of school, possession of criminal tools, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia respectively.

A search warrant was conducted at 200 Pimlico Pl. apt. G and police found marijuana, scales and other items associated with drug trafficking. Kelly A. Rupp was found to be in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Both were transported to the Huron County Jail.

Police say James lived near Bellevue Middle School and they expect to make additional arrests.
