NORTH CANTON, OH (WOIO) - A North Canton man was arrested Tuesday night after police say he robbed the Lakemore Wine and Liquor Store.

According to witnesses Dwight Adams entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the cash drawer. Adams told employees he would stab them if he didn't get the money. 

A responding officer saw a man matching the description of the suspect fleeing the scene. 

Two patrons of the store who were closely pursuing the suspect, caught him and tackled him to the ground. 

Cops tased Adams to get him under control. 

The 35-year-old had an undisclosed amount of cash on him and the weapon used in the robbery. 

Adams is currently being held in the Summit County Jail.
