CANTON, OH (WOIO) - A Canton man has been indicted in the February death of his infant son.
A grand jury indicted Anthony Benjamin Grove on the charges of murder and endangering children.
Prosecutors say the 34-year-old killed his two-month-old son during an argument with the child's mother.
According to the police report, mom, Patricia Fiebig, and Grove were arguing because he was smoking while she was feeding the baby. The report shows that Grove grabbed a ceramic mug full of hot coffee and threw it hitting two-month-old Zeeland in the head.
Zeeland was taken to Akron Children's Hospital and died nine hours later.
