The Cleveland Browns own the 12th and 19th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. This is a player profile guide of potential players the Browns can draft in the first round. Day 4 will feature Oklahoma WR Dorial Green-Beckham.
Dorial Green-Beckham played two season with the University of Missouri where he totaled 87 catches for 1,278 yards and 17 touchdowns. Green-Beckham would be dismissed from the University of Missouri football team in 2014 and would then transfer to the University of Oklahoma.
Due to transfer restriction, Green-Beckham had to sit out the 2014 season.
Green-Beckham has had legal issue dating back to 2012 where he and other teammates would be arrested on marijuana charges. In 2014, a police investigation of a suspected burglary involving Green-Beckham was closed without an arrest.
Green-Beckham made the Second Team All SEC team in 2013.
2015 Combine Results:
4.49 40-yard dash
33.5 inch vertical jump 119 inch broad jump
13 reps of 225 lbs on the bench press
Green-Beckham has all the talent to be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL but off the field issues may hinder his abilities, but that sounds like a familiar story that the Browns are already dealing with, Josh Gordon. Gordon is suspended for the 2015 season, the Browns signed Brian Hartline and Dwayne Bowe to fill the need at wide receiver. The real question is, are the Browns in a position to take a risk at wide receiver in the first round?
The first round of the 2015 NFL Draft is on April 30th.
