This Sunday, several children got the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny.
While this may not seem like an extraordinary thing, this particular group of children would more than likely have had to forego a visit of this nature in the traditional sense.
Most of us can recall a childhood, family voyage to the mall to have our pictures taken with the Easter Bunny, but that meant standing in line with several other families who also had the same idea.
For Wish Children, being around large crowds could mean a compromised immune system and a deterioration of health.
So thanks to the ASW special gift, the Wish Children were granted a "Private Easter Bunny Experience" at
on March 29.
Complimentary train rides and gift bags were also available for ASW families.
The organization grants wishes for Cleveland families with children diagnosed with life-threatening diseases between birth and twenty years of age.
Currently, there are 32 families serviced at the main campus at Cleveland Clinic, UH Rainbows, and the Ronald McDonald House.
