For over 20 years,
has been fueled by the passion and commitment of of hundreds of volunteers and dedicated board and staff members. Komen Northeast Ohio invests 75 percent of its net income to support vital local breast health services in our service area, and dedicates the remaining net income, 25%, to national research to find the cures. Since 1994, Komen Northeast Ohio has provided nearly $14 million in community grants to Northeast Ohio agencies working to end breast cancer. Additionally, more than $5 million has been invested in national research.
Registration for this year's Cleveland and Akron Races For The Cure is now open. Those who register in the month of April can sign up at the early bird registration fee of $25. The first 750 participants who join Team 19 when they register will also get a free pink wig, and a special race bib.
