PAINESVILLE, OH (WOIO) - Lake County deputies are investigating an assault at a convenience store.

Authorities say around 8:15 p.m. on March 22, a man ran into the Perry One Stop on North Ridge Road while a female employee was working alone.

The employee says the man wrapped his arms around her and tried to kiss her, forcing himself on her and pushing her against a table counter.

The woman was hurt in the assault.

When she told the man that she had called 911, she says he apologized and ran out of the store.

Deputies say the man was a passenger in a dark-colored vehicle, possibly with silver or chrome trim around the doors.

If you can help authorities find him, contact the Lake County Sheriff's Office at  (440) 350-5882.
