2015 NFL Draft, player profile: Ereck Flowers

The Cleveland Browns own the 12th and 19th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. This is a player profile guide of potential player the Browns can draft. Day 3 will feature Miami offensive tackle Ereck Flowers.

Flowers played three seasons with the Miami Hurricanes, starting all but one game in 2014, in 2013 he started all 13 games at left tackle. Flowers was named Second Team All ACC in 2014.

The Browns offensive line is solid but the game is won and lost in the front lines and you can never have too many lineman in the case of injuries, as the Browns found out when Center Alex Mack went down.

2015 NFL Combine results:

5.31 second 40-yard dash

37 reps on the bench press at 225 lbs.

Flowers is big and athletic, his strength is in the run game, but struggled with pass protection in college. Flowers has been compared to 2014 first-round pick Greg Robinson with the same flaws and strengths coming into the NFL.

The Browns could add Flowers to an already solid offensive line. Flowers brings depth and can compete for a starting job.

The First-Round of the 2015 NFL Draft takes place on April 30.
