2 arrested in Canton home invasion

CANTON, OH (WOIO) - Two men have been arrested in connection to a home invasion on Tuesday in the 2800 block of Cleveland Avenue SE in Canton.

Dylan Cary, 21, of Canton, was arrested by deputies at Aultman Hospital. Domonic Mitchell, 18, of Canton, was located and arrested with assistance from the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force.

Both suspects have been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary, which are felonies of the first degree. The suspects have been booked into the Stark County Jail.

The homeowner had reported that three suspects had entered his residence by kicking in his front door. One suspect was armed and demanded money. 

During the robbery, the homeowner was able to get a pocket knife from his pants and possibly stab two of the suspects. Once he fought back, the intruders fled.

Two male subjects, matching the description of the intruders, were treated at local hospitals for injuries related to a stabbing.
