ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) -

Elyria Police have arrested the parents of a four-month-old baby girl who was left in the dining room of the McDonald's restaurant on Broad Street on Friday.

Police say 31-year-old Aaron Tate brought the baby to the restaurant to hand off to her mother, 22-year-old Rachel Jajaa, who works at the McDonald's.

Police say neither parent wanted to take the baby for the weekend, so they left her in the restaurant.

The little girl is now in the care of Lorain County Children Services.

Tate and Jajaa are both charged with child endangerment.
