(CNN) - Jurors begin deliberations Tuesday in the Boston Marathon bombing trial.
The big question is whether the only surviving suspect will face the death penalty.
According to his attorneys, "Dhzokhar Tsarnaev stands ready to be held accountable for his actions."
In her closing argument, defense attorney Judy Clarke told jurors there is no excuse for the destruction and the suffering caused by the bombings at the finish line of the Boston Marathon two years ago, but, she says, it never would have happened if not for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's older brother.
Prosecutors painted a different picture, one where Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev acted as partners as they carried out the bombings - killing Krystle Campbell, Lingzi Lu and 8-year-old Martin Richard; injuring more than 260 - the murder of MIT officer Sean Collier, a carjacking, a robbery and a firefight with police.
"He was relatively nonreactive until the attorney who did the closing walked towards the table and pointed to him. He got a little animated after that," said Ed Davis, former Boston police commissioner.
"He was fidgeting, moving his hands around," Davis said. "I thought that he might actually say something."

(Toledo News Now) -A poll conducted by Quinnipiac University found voters in Ohio support the legalization of medical marijuana, and to a lesser extent, the legalization of recreational marijuana.
The Swing State Poll involved voters in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania, and found 84 percent of those polled in Ohio in support of medical marijuana. A smaller amount of those polled, 52 percent, support allowing adults “to legally possess small amounts of marijuana for personal use” (recreational marijuana).
But only 5 percent said they definitely would use marijuana themselves, and 9 percent said they probably would. Seventeen percent said they probably would not use it; 67 percent said they definitely would not.
Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,077 Ohio voters between March 17 and 28.
