2015 NFL Draft, player profile: Malcom Brown

The Cleveland Browns own the 12th and 19th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. This is a player profile guide of potential player the Browns can draft. Day 7 will feature Texas defensive tackle Malcom Brown.

Brown has played three seasons with the Texas Longhorns, starting every game in the 2013-14 seasons. In his three seasons Browns has totaled 162 tackles for 8.5 sacks. In 2014 Brown was named a consensus All-American after recording 69 tackles and 6.5 sacks in his junior season. Brown was named First-team All-Big 12 in 2014, along with the ESPN Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.

Many draft experts have Brown going to the Browns with the 19th selection. Brown looks very natural on his feet and passes all the eye test, he's tall and has a big frame

Brown is fast off the line of scrimmage, he locates the ball quickly and gets his hands up in pass protection. His weakness, he needs to build more power and technique in his hands. Brown is drawing the comparison of Vince Wolfork.

2015 Combine results:

5.05 40-yard dash

26 reps on bench press (225 lbs)

29.5 inch vertical jump

4.59 20-yard shuttle time

7.84 3 cone drill

Overall Brown has all the talent to have a long successful career and he's what the Browns infamously would love to have.

The First-round in the NFL Draft takes place on April 30.
