A couple of jail employees arrested in meth bust

CHARDON, OH (WOIO) -

Two jail employees were among those arrested in meth bust.

Detectives from the Geauga County Sheriff's Office conducted the drug investigation at 15720 Pioneer Rd. in Huntsburg earlier this week.

While there, they watched Timothy R. Winters, 27, from Hambden Twp. try to hide a “one pot” meth lab inside of the residence.

After obtaining a search warrant officers located four “one pot” bottles. 

Brandon D. Inghram 24, and Winters were arrested for manufacturing of drugs. Sarahbelle J. Stafford, 27, was arrested for complicity to manufacturing of drugs.

All three will be arrigned in Chardon Municipal Court on April 9, 2015.

Winters and Stafford are currently employed as Corrections Officers at Lake Erie Correctional Insitute in Conneaut, OH.
