Browns fans can now camp out at the Muni Lot a whole lot earlier than before.
Cleveland City Council, Monday night, voted to allow
fans to hang out in the Municipal Lot the night before home games.
The lot used to open at 7 a.m. on game day.
In addition to opening earlier, the rates are going up as well. Cars, trucks and SUVs will cost $25, while RVs and campers will run $75. Drives will also have to pay the daily "special event" rate that has been upped from $20 to $30.
Meters downtown are also going from .75 cents to $1, hourly and daily rates at city owned lots and garages are going up $1.
