RAVENNA, OH (WOIO) - The Ohio State Patrol is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday morning at 7:50 a.m.
According to troopers from the Ravenna Post, Branden L. Woodford, 20, of Deerfield, Ohio was headed west on US 224 driving a 2005 Chrysler Sebring when he went left of center and crashed into a Chevy pick-up truck being driven by Michael H. Luli.
Luli, 47, of Mogadore, Ohio was east on US 224 pulling a 2014 dual axle flatbed trailer loaded with a Kubota excavator on his pick-up.
Woodford and his passenger Eric A. Welsh III, 24, of Deerfield, Ohio were both killed. Police say neither were wearing seatbelts.
Luli had minor injuries and was treated at the scene. He had one passenger, 29-year-old Eric L. Blake also of Mogadore, Ohio. He was not injured and both were wearing seatbelts.
This crash is still under investigation.
