fans who witnessed the big uniform reveal wasted no time donning the new gear, which is now available in stores all over northeast Ohio. Of course, it didn't take long for fans to share their opinions.
"I thought they were very nice. They definitely needed some updating. It's been a while," said Cherie Denman.
"They were really nice. I really liked them. Really cool," said Christian Cabot.
The new uniforms feature nine color combinations.
"I like the brown on brown," said Margaret Maurer.
They rolled out the orange carpet at the Convention Center downtown Tuesday night, and Browns players posed with fans after the reveal.
Some fans raced to buy the latest gear at a store set up inside the Convention Center. The Browns team shop was also open.
"Like Nike said, they put a modern twist on it, which I think we needed for all the younger Browns fans coming up. It still pays respect to all the older Browns fans," said Steve Chada.
Almost everyone we spoke with liked the new look.
"I think they're terrible," said one disappointed fan. "It looks like a high school team right now."
As long as they don't play like a high school team, right?
"I don't care what they wear if they win," said Maurer.
True, the most important thing is winning. But winning while looking good is a nice combination.
