Woman accused of punching police officer

MENTOR ON THE LAKE, OH (WOIO) - A Mentor-on-the-Lake woman faces a string of charges, including allegedly punching a police officer in the face, breaking his glasses.

Police were called to a disturbance Tuesday night at The Reserve at Lake Pointe Apartments on Marine Parkway.

That's where they took 26-year-old Natalie Miller into custody for domestic violence, drug possession, resisting arrest and two counts of felony assault on a police officer.

Authorities say Miller struck the officer while she was being processed.

Miller is being held on $10,000 bond.
