White House to honor National Champion Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, OH (WOIO) - The Ohio State University Buckeyes football team will visit the White House on Monday, April 20.

The 2014 national champs will be welcomed by President Obama, a tradition he began to honor sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities.

The Buckeyes became the first ever College Football Playoff National Champions, defeating the Oregon Ducks.
