Students suspended for firing airsoft guns at school

UHRICHSVILLE, OH (WOIO) - Nine Claymont High School students were suspended for bringing airsoft guns to school. 

John Rocchi, Claymont City Schools Superintendent in Tuscarawas County said the incident occurred in the Claymont High School parking lot, just after dismissal Monday.

Rocchi said the students fired the guns at an unknown number of students. There were no injuries. 

The superintendent said all parents were notified and an internal investigation is ongoing.
