The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has captured fugitive Okera Kirk.

Kirk was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and East Cleveland Police Department for federal supervised release violation, and more recently, attempted murder. Kirk is believed to be the shooter in an incident that took place in the early morning hours on March 6. The shooting took place at the Sunoco gas station in the 15200 block of Euclid Avenue.       

On Thursday morning, Kirk was taken into custody in the 3300 block of East 132nd Street in Cleveland. U.S. Marshals say this arrest was a direct result of a tip into the tipline.
