A Cleveland man has been indicted with aggravated murder for the death of off-duty firefighter Theodore J. Wright.
According to a spokesperson from the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, 20-year-old Slatter Howell III was indicted Tuesday.
Wright was killed on May 1, 2014. He was shot, then lost control of his car, slamming into a tree on East 71st and Harvard Avenue.
Howell also faces additional charges of aggravated robbery, murder, and felonious assault.
He has not yet been arrested.
Wright was a 32-year veteran of the Cleveland Division of Fire, last assigned to Station Number 43.
He left behind a wife and three children.
