The Cleveland Indians rebounded from their loss last night with a 6-2 victory over the White Sox on Tuesday.
The Indians had a 3-0 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth inning last night and Cody Allen gave up four runs to blow the game, the White Sox won 4-3.
Tuesday night, the Indians trailed early 1-0 in the first inning on a Jose Abreu home run. The Indians would score the next six runs. In the second Carlos Santana would hit a home run to right, game would be tied at 1.
The Indians would score in three straight innings, a David Murphy home run in the fifth gave the Indians a 2-1 lead. Ryan Raburn would add to that in the sixth on a single to left,scoring Jason Kipnis and Michael Brantley, giving the Indians a 4-1 lead. In the seventh Brantley would hit Ramirez in on a single, and Kipnis would hit a sacrifice fly to left, scoring Perez.
The White Sox would have the bases loaded after scoring a run in the eight, Brain Shaw would escape the threat, the score, 6-2 going into the ninth inning. Cody Allen would close the game out, Indians win 6-2.
Carlos Carrasco would be the winning pitcher with his 5 inning, 4 hit, 1 earned run outing. Carrasco also added 8 strike outs on 60 pitches.
