LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) - Prosecutors continue calling witnesses in the trial of William Galvin.
Testimony began last week with the state's first witness being a Lakewood Police Officer.
Prosecutors say Galvin ran over and killed 36-year-old David Nageotte on Cook Avenue in Lakewood on July 4th, 2014.
Nageotte, who worked at the American Red Cross, was hit right across from his house.
Police say Galvin was drunk at the time of the accident and left Nageotte to die in the street.
Police tracked him down using car parts found on the street at the scene of the accident.
