were on the road for Game 3 against the Celtics Thursday night, but the Q was not quiet. Thousands of fans snatched free tickets for a massive watch party.
The atmosphere inside was festive with fans literally dancing on the floor of the arena.
The Cavs being back in the post-season is cause for celebration.
"Oh my God, it's awesome. Live band. Cardboard cutouts. It's really, really fun," said Tara Burrelli on the floor of the Q.
The watch party at Quicken Loans Arena featured activities the whole family could enjoy. Many fans brought their children.
Eddie Walker brought his son and daughter with him.
"Well, why not," he said. "The Cavs are playing tonight. This is exciting."
It wasn't just the kids having fun and enjoying the atmosphere. Adults were loving it, too.
"It's so much fun here tonight," said Doreen Howley, as she took a break from dancing while a live band performed. "Everyone's having a good time."
Burrelli was dancing nearby.
"Four of my girlfriends actually having a girl's night out at the Q!" she said.
The Humongotron serves as a great big-screen TV so fans get a truly unique experience.
There's another watch party at the Q on Sunday afternoon for Game 4.
