2015 NFL Draft, player profile: Eddie Goldman

The Cleveland Browns own the 12th and 19th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. This is a player profile guide of potential player the Browns can draft. Monday will feature Florida State defensive tackle Eddie Goldman.

Goldman has played three seasons with the Florida State Seminoles. In his three year career at Florida State, Goldman would have a total of 60 tackles and 6 sacks. The majority of that coming in his senior year where he had 35 tackles and 4 sacks.

Goldman is a part of the undefeated 2014 BCS National Championship team, where they defeated Auburn 34-31, Goldman had 3 total tackles in that game.

In 2014, Goldman was named Third-team All American and First-team All ACC.

Goldman would likely be the 19th selection for the Browns rather than the 12th selection.

Goldman needs to improve on the consistency of his pass rush and needs to improve his up-field burst. The strength of Goldman is just that, his strength. He has incredible upper body power with the ability to explode out of his stance and into defenders. He thrives in the run game.

Goldman has the NFL comparison of fellow Browns lineman, Randy Starks.

Goldman's Pro Day results:

5.27 seconds 40-yard dash

26 inch vertical jump

4.87 seconds 20-yard short shuttle

7.62 seconds three-cone drill

The First Round of the 2015 NFL Draft is this Thursday, April 30.
