After being held captive for a decade, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus released a book detailing their ordeal Monday, April 27, 2015, nearly two years to the date of their dramatic escape.

Berry, Knight and Michelle Knight were held hostage for more than a decade by Ariel Castro. Knight, 34, released her book, Finding Me: A Decade of Darkness, a Life Reclaimed: A Memoir of the Cleveland Kidnappings in 2014.

Amanda and Gina's memoir was released today. In it, they discuss how they were kidnapped, to being chained to one another in a home at 2207 Seymour Avenue. Amanda found out their captor, Ariel Castro, hanged himself in jail via 19 Action News.

Gina was only in the seventh grade when Castro kidnapped her.

Pulitzer prize winning journalists Mary Jordan and Kevin Sullivan helped Berry and DeJesus write Hope: A Memoir of Survival in Cleveland.
