In Cleveland, Alfredo Williams pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday morning.
Williams is charged with disorderly conduct, a minor misdemeanor, for allegedly threatening to kill Officer Michael Brelo if he wasn't convicted. The unprecedented event came on day 8 of Brelo's bench trial.
Williams was banned from the courthouse and taken to the sheriff's department for further investigation.
Brelo is on trial for his role in a November 2012 deadly Cleveland police chase and shooting. Malissa Williams and Timothy Russell were the victims.
Alfredo is Malissa's brother.
He remains out on bond, but will be back in court on May 13.
