NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OH (WOIO) - have arrested 45-year-old Janet Tyburski for the murder of her daughter, 26-year-old Rachele Tyburski.
Rachele's body was discovered on Sunday, March 15 on Victory Lane in North Ridgeville.
Janet Tyburski was arrested at her home in Lakewood.
According to police, Rachele was murdered at that home, which she shared with her mother and young son.
Neighbors say a broken window and a chair on the front yard were two troubling signs that now stick out in their minds.
They say that was something did not seem right, right around the time Rachele Tyburski's body was found.
"I'm just shocked. I'm stunned. I'm beyond words. I'm just shocked and stunned. I can't believe it," said a friend of Rachele who did not want to be identified. She affectionately referred to Rachele as "Shelly."
Shelly, she says, loved her four-year-old son more than anything.
"Shelly loved life. She was fun loving. She had a great spirit. She would help anybody, and her little boy was the world to her. She loved him. She loved her little boy," her friend said.
There were arguments, but nothing that anyone says they believed would escalate to murder.
"I just pray it was an accident. I just pray it was an accident. I can't imagine," added Rachele's friend.
Authorities plan to hold a news conference Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the North Ridgeville City Council Chambers to discuss the latest developments.
